Also, in the event that winter weather effects our operating hours, we will post information on the NEWS tab by 5:15 am that day. If the Salem-Keizer school district is delayed or closed due to weather, we are also closed.

We are experiencing power outages at and around  Bud to Blossom this evening.  If we don’t have power, we are not able to operate. Please check our website  periodically tomorrow morning (Friday Nov 14) starting at 6:00 am. for  any closure or delay info. As of right now we are planning on operating as usual. Fingers crossed!

B2B Delayed This Morning

DELAY:  Due to freezing rain and the forecast of dropping temps between now and 9 am, B2B will have a delayed open time….9:00….. this morning unless freezing rain conditions have not resolved.  Salem Keizer School District is on a two hour delay, and we WILL NOT be transporting to public schools this morning, but will operate van runs as usual this afternoon.  Please check back at 8:00 for any updated info. Thank you for your understanding.  This has been a particularly tough one to call.

Wintry Weather Wednesday Night!

I was just watching the weather channel, and our Salem forecast is calling for 1-3″ of snow and ice Wednesday night.  Yikes!  I think it’s a little early for all that……   Anyway, please remember to check here on the website for Bud to Blossom closure/delay information.  We try to stay open even when other schools (Salem Keizer SD) close, but I will close B2B or delay our start as needed if I feel the roads are dangerous to our staff and families.

Please remember too that if Salem Keizer School District is DELAYED we DO NOT DO AM VAN RUNS!  We will transport to PM kindergarten and pick up as usual in the afternoon.  Parents should plan to make other arrangements to transport their child(ren) to public school in the event of a SKSD delayed start.

I will post information about closures or delays by 5:15 the morning of “the event”.  Thanks for your understanding!  Shannon

Snow and Public School Transportation

Parents, please keep in mind if you have a child who is transported to public school… our vans stop running is there is anything on the ground that we deem to be a driving hazard, such as snow and/or ice.  If we change our transportation schedule mid-day and that change involves your child, we will be sure to call you.  Please be sure to check your messages :).  As always, if your child does not need transportation from public school back to B2B on a regularly scheduled day, please be sure to call us.
